- Hmmm. Okay, so if your version contains all (or at least all the significant parts) of the original, you might be able to get away with this:
- Copy the text from your sandbox atop the existing article text.
- Leave a note on the talk page explaining what happened.
- Once finished, mark your sandbox for deletion (use the {{mfd}} template) so an admin knows the sandbox page is no longer in use.
