Speed guitar vs. shred guitar edit

First of all the article is not yours, I suggest that you take a look at Wikipedia:Ownership of articles. As to you other demands I think that a read of Wikipedia:Civility and Wikipedia:No personal attacks would be a good idea. Other editors may not be so willing to ignore the insults that you made. However, I will answer your questions. I redirected the page to Shred guitar because, as you also acknowledge, they are the same thing and thus there is no need for two articles. You say that the shred page is not being corrected, and there is not one editor to that page there are several, but I see that you have not made any edits to correct it, although you have made some general comments at Talk:Shred guitar. You need to say specifically what is wrong with the article and how you think it should be corrected. Finally, although it is none of your business, and there are plenty of young editors who do excellent work, I am not the same age as I was in that picture, which was taken about 40 years ago. Wow! edit

Dear CambridgeBayWeather, it must be that you have a personal interest in this shred guitar article and dislike the article that I have written because you feel some sort of personal attack or something - hey if you want to act like Hitler and burn my article so no one can see some great documentation on what speed guitar really is, then go for it - I will leave my article out of Wikipedia just so you can have your own little way. Burn away! I sure am glad you are not in charge of the libraries in the United States. I just can't believe that Wikipedia is filled with this type of childness. Have a great little tantrum day, for crying out loud why don't ya? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.176.8.97 (talk) 03:35, 2 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Try and explain again edit

I thought I had explained it above but I guess you didn't understand. You yourself say that shred guitar and speed guitar are different names for the same thing. Therefore there is no need to have two articles about it. You said that there are problems with the shred article but you have not discussed what they are and you have made no attempts to fix it. Instead you created a duplicate article and wasted your time complaining that I have blocked it, which of course I haven't, while in fact I redirected it. By the way, take a look at these edits of TheLetterM, Fozforus and Wiki libs who all have the same feeling about the article that I did. I would suggest that your time would be better spent in working with the editors on the shred guitar article to improve it than complaining on and using 216.176.8.97 to make attacks.
