Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy or request a change of username.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose. Additionally, if your contributions to Wikipedia form all or part of work for which you are, or expect to be, paid, you must disclose who is paying you to edit.

Please also note that you are permitted to use a username that contains the name of a company or organization if it identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87".

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text

{{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}

at the bottom of your talk page. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names.

 Thank you. GirthSummit (blether) 14:41, 6 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Thank you for contacting me about this issue. I admit that I am the current Webmaster at SuperDroidRobots Inc. My contributions to existing content have been unrelated to my position. I have been working on creating a Wikipedia page for SuperDroid Robots Inc. I had read the COI policy prior to any content creation and have been working to keep the article as impartial as possible, and would appreciate additional oversight or guidance to ensure that it does not appear as a form of promotion for the company. I planned to submit the article through the Wikipedia:Articles_for_creation. As for the paid-contribution disclosure, I will add the template to my talk page as directed by the guide and ensure that I list SuperDroidRobots Inc.

Accept reason:

I have renamed your account, and as this is only a username block, I will remove it. 331dot (talk) 18:59, 6 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for taking the time to review this submission and providing some insight and recommendations. I've taken the time to review the references used and realize that over the past several years several articles and links had become dead/archived/removed and needed to be cleaned up. I was able to find archived versions of a majority of the inactive references and update those links while removing ones that unfortunately had no archived copies.
I do have some questions I hope you could clarify.
If IMDB is not considered a reliable resource is there a recognized alternative to provide proof of involvement in media projects?
Could you identify a few examples of the references that failed to meet the four criteria for sources outlined in your response? That would help me moving forward with editing this draft and locating better sources.
Thank you again for reviewing the submission and I look forward to hearing back from you. BenjyWikiwriter (talk) 18:42, 20 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
