Negima! chapter list edit

Thanks for all your help on the Negima! chapter list, it's much appreciated. I'd just like to point out that in general, we don't worry about the characters that appear on the spine or back cover - see Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Anime and manga/Archive 32#Spine and back cover characters for an archived discussion on the matter. ダイノガイ?!」(Dinoguy1000) 19:50, 9 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, but the thing is, Fullmetal Alchemist (one of the examples you gave on that other talk page) has the same image on its back cover and spine as the front cover. In Negima, however, characters displayed on the back cover are often unique, and the back cover art is always unique. Some characters even have their sole cover appearance on the back. In the first twenty volumes, only 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 17 and 18 have the same character on the front and back covers - that's only seven volumes, basically a third of them. --Belthazar451 (talk) 20:41, 9 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
Well, if you want, you can raise the issue with the project again, since consensus can change. However, this is the way we currently do cover characters for all of our chapter lists, regardless of appearances or art. ダイノガイ?!」(Dinoguy1000) 19:20, 10 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Page copy edit

I want to use AWB on another wiki. I need to make copies of a whole bunch of different pages, with slight differences. For example, I have a bunch of pages named "XXX (Foo)", and I want to make a copy of each of them at "XXX (Bar)", at the same time replacing all instances of "Foo" actually on the page with "Bar" - in a sense, a find/replace that also includes the page title. I can figure out the find/replace for the page body - that's easy - what I can't work out is how to mass-copy all the pages. I don't want to move them (that's easy too =P) because I still need to retain the originals.

Help, anyone? Is it even possible? --Belthazar451 (talk) 10:42, 19 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

AWB does not rename pages, but it will do the search/replace of "Foo" to "Bar" very easily. There are bots that can do mass renames. Check with the bots department. The Transhumanist 09:26, 24 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
