Reason for block

Hey, I don't know why I was blocked while not only when I'm logged out, but when I'm logged in! When I checked my account contribs it did not say my account was blocked. Was it a software bug? BeijingMan2008 (talk) 04:55, 20 August 2013 (UTC)

That sounds like a global block to me. You will have to check whether your IP address is subject to a global block; if so, you can either contest the block at meta:Steward requests/Global or request to have your account be exempted from global IP blocks; the latter would be done via the {{unblock}} template; see also Wikipedia:IP block exemption for details. Well, the message says (and I did copy-paste for this):
