Sonic Unleashed edit

Hi, thanks for your new info regarding Sonic Unleashed which you have placed into the article. Unfortunately, you provide no references for the edits you have made. When I removed the unsourced info, you placed it back in, only mentioning in your Edit Summaries that you got the info from a Nintendo magazine. Wikipedia, as an encyclopedia, insists you cite the information formally - as a reference - so that we can accept the information from the source as true, and leave it in the article. Your edit summary asked readers to look it up in a magazine - personally, not owning any Nintendo console or reading any gaming magazines, I cannot verify this - and that's why references are used. If you cite your source then others can (should they choose) verify your information from said source. We can't do that if you only mention the source off-handedly in your edit summary.

Please look here for information on how to cite your source into the article, and use the existing references and cites as a guideline.

Thanks. SynergyBlades (talk) 21:49, 9 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

It's quite clear, really - just cite your sources, in the article. SynergyBlades (talk) 13:55, 10 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Re: ROTF edit

Blogs do not meet WP:RS, and I was also reverting someone who put a Constructicon in the Autobots section. Alientraveller (talk) 12:47, 6 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

File source problem with File:BeautyBeastUnitMGS4.jpg edit

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:BeautyBeastUnitMGS4.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 05:06, 9 April 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Radiant chains (talk) 05:06, 9 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
