Apple Annie on Broadway edit

Greetings Beevsbud!

I was interested in your recent addition of useful material to Lady for a Day. It would be great if you could provide some good sources (full explanation here) for what you add in line with Wikipedia's current verifiability policy (set out here).

I've made a few friendly changes and -- as you may be new to Wikipedia editing -- I feel perhaps I should explain why. I moved the material to what seems to me a more appropriate place in the article and added some wikilinks (technical explanation here for people you mentioned who already have their own articles on Wikipedia. I'm afraid I felt the need to remove the second of the two sentences you added, because it seemed to read a bit like a personal opinion (see Wikipedia's "Original Research" policy); but, again, if you can source the concept it could be reincorporated with a slightly different wording.

Wikipedia has a whole bunch of policies and guidelines, , which one gradually gets used to, though they can seem a bit daunting at first. Anyway, this stuff is all broadly based on just a few basic principles I'll ask someone from the Welcoming Committee to drop by and post you a box with a helpful collection of links. Enjoy yourself editing Wikipedia. —MistyMorn (talk) 10:44, 23 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
