Hello, Beelzebubbles1972, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} and your question on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

We hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on talk and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!

Please see the Mary Rose talk page. I've not made the change you suggested because the existing text seems to be supported by two good sources. It is possible that the sources are wrong, and it is possible that they have been misquoted. Wikipedia relies on secondary sources where subject expertise is shown, editors are not necessarily experts in the field they are working on. It is a rule therefore to support statements with citations and to accept them. This may seem arcane, but there is good reasoning behind it. If you can find a good, published (including on-line), source to support your statement then I (and many others) would be more than happy to ammend the article. Good news - user Benea has provided the references to support your original point. Thanks for starting this off, although there was a temporary pause the encyclopedia is better for your efforts. If you read the talk page WP:NOR and WP:V are links to the relevant Wikipedia policies - a bit heavy going for your first edit! Thanks, Martin of Sheffield (talk) 11:31, 25 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
