Image copyright problem with Image:Achoo.png

Thanks for uploading Image:Achoo.png. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. Yao's Principle

Thanks for adding an article on Yao's principle. I'm just curious about the proper capitalization for the thing, since a lot of references have a lowercase 'p' and Wikipedia is case sensitive. Inverse eigenvalues theorem

Hello, and also a warm welcome from me. I saw you created an article on inverse eigenvalues theorem. This is certainly an important result and deserves to be mentioned. However, I'm a bit worried about the prospects of the article. I don't really see it grow beyond a few sentences. Therefore, I'd like to propose to merge this page with the main page on eigenvalues (which is at Eigenvalue, eigenvector and eigenspace) and mention the result there. What do you think about that?

Date/year linking

Cease making edits like this. I hate it when dates are linked just as much as you, but delinking them stops date preferences formatting from working, which is even worse. --Cyde↔Weys 13:46, 29 June 2006 (UTC)

I support your attempts to reduce overlinking of dates. Please feel free to use my monobook tool. It will ignore 'preference dates' mentioned by Cyde and only delink 'non-preference dates' in just two clicks per article.

It identifies all non-preference dates in just one click on a 'dates' tab in edit mode. You can then 'Save' or 'Cancel' the edit in a second click. Simply copy the entire contents of User:Bobblewik/monobook.js to User:Beefyt/monobook.js. Follow the instructions in your monobook to clear the cache (i.e. press Ctrl-Shift-R in Firefox, or Ctrl-F5 in IE) before it will work. If you get stuck, let me know. Reconsidering WTFPL 2nd AfD

Would you please reconsider the 2nd AfD nomination of WTFPL? I have been discussing this article with its editors, and I believe they have not satisfactorily met the notability criteria. In fact, they believe the nobility criteria does not apply in this case, because "common sense" suggests the article is notable. I would like to nominate the article for deletion again because I believe the most recent AfD discussion was not conducted in good faith: the keep arguments relied primarily on WP:GOOGLEHITS, WP:PERNOM, and WP:VAGUEWAVE. Most importantly, the editors have failed to produce a single reliable secondary source to establish notability since the first time this article was nominated for deletion over 20 months ago. That's a good point. I figured, if its mentioned in the article, then it deserves a redirect. I didn't stop to question the validity of the mention in the first place because I've been to the thing; I know its real. I can try to find a reference, but for now I will place an {{refimprovesect}} on the section. The redirect definitely should be kept unless the section is removed. Nova Spivack

I would say "semantic web pioneer" plus having co-founded a company that was publicly traded is an assertion of notability. If you think the assertion is questionable, that can be evaluated at Articles for deletion, but my understanding of the proposed deletion process is that you accept such assertions at face value. As for coverage by reliable sources, it may not be reflected in the current "References" section, but the external links include several that could be used for that. No, it is not a reliable source. The content appearing on SYS-CON is copied from other websites without approval of the authors and is packaged with ads.
