Removing AfD template edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Speedy deletion nomination of China's Got Talent (series 4) edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on China's Got Talent (series 4) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. SarahStierch (talk) 08:46, 21 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

May 2013 edit

This is your last warning. The next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at The X Factor (UK TV series), you may be blocked from editing without further notice. –

The X Factor (UK TV Series) edit

Hi,

Your edit has been undone because it already delicates information contained in the series overview section of The_X_Factor_(UK_TV_series). Please talk it to the talkpage at Talk:The_X_Factor_(UK_TV_series) if you do not understand why your edit has been removed or if you think we are missing something but not including your summary table. — Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 11:35, 28 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

June 2013 edit

Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Chinese Idol, with this edit, without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 08:40, 23 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Bedco Chan. You have new messages at Jim1138's talk page.

Disambiguation link notification for September 15 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited The X Factor, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Yuri Antonov. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 10:26, 15 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Got Talent edit

You have re-added a long list of unsourced judges on Got Talent. I am quite unhappy with your summery about thet: disrespectful to delete all the effort made in the past by all contributer. In fact, the list of guest judges is perfectly in place in the actual article about the specific country version of "Got Talent", but not in the worldwide overview.

The IP has now multiple times re-added this list and also restored links to winning artists. Unfortunately, he (or she) created 19 links to disambiguation pages with that.

So please, I request your cooperation in preventing restoring the out-of-place list of judges and the links to disambiguation pages. The Banner talk 08:17, 25 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open! edit

Hello, Bedco Chan. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

WP:V and WP:RS edit

Please click on the links in the heading for information about our policies on sourcing. When you add new information to Wikipedia articles, please add your published source for the info. Also, performances should not be added to filmographies until after the performance actually takes place. All the best! -- Ssilvers (talk) 17:42, 21 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the message. The above is true generally, but I was specifically thinking of this one. -- Ssilvers (talk) 17:41, 22 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
OK, I realise the page you said, but as I saw, in the same list, in Row 14, there is another info which is 'The Voice' as well with no source, and what I added to the list had took place already. So what should I do? Thanks. -- Bedco Chan, 23 May 2017
Please respond here, not on my Talk page, to keep the discussion together. When you contribute to Wikipedia, make it better, not worse. Some *old* information may not be properly referenced, but all *new* information should be properly referenced. That way the quality of the encyclopedia keeps improving. Also, you are wrong: [Add: The Voice appearances are both given references in the body of the article above. The chart doesn't need to *repeat* references that are already give above in the article. The Italian appearance, however, is not mentioned or referenced in the article above]. May 27 has not taken place yet. See WP:CRYSTAL. -- Ssilvers (talk) 17:17, 23 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
Ms Ssilvers, that is 2015! Not 2017! -- Bedco Chan, 24 May 2017
Ah, 2015. You are right about that! But, more importantly, the addition still would require citation of a published, independent WP:Reliable source. Too much emphasis is give to charts and tables in Wikipedia articles. If something is important, it should be discussed and referenced in the body of the article above. If it is not worth discussing in the body of the article, it is probably not essential in the table. Thanks -- Ssilvers (talk) 18:35, 24 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
You might be correct, but if that's the case, the item below my addition (the line 2016) is about The Voice US performance, so if that is not important, then the whole list can be deleted. So if her performance in The Voice US is written in the table, why not for The Voice of Italy? Thanks in advance. -- Bedco Chan, 25 May 2017
Hi. Grande's article says: "In December 2016... Grande, performing in her second consecutive season finale of The Voice, sang "Faith" together with Stevie Wonder; they collaborated on the song for the soundtrack of the 2016 film Sing.[160] So, the text of the article describes the appearance on The Voice, and the source is given in footnote 160. The information is also in the table. In the case of The Voice of Italy, you did not explain the importance of the appearance in the body of the article, and you did not cite a WP:Reliable source. -- Ssilvers (talk) 21:54, 25 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Recent Edits - May 2018 edit

Hi, I'm GUtt01, and wish to let you know that your recent edit to Britain's Got Talent (series 11) was reverted for being not constructive and for duplicating information that was already mentioned. The article features a section entitled "Series Overview", which includes a focus on any changes made to Britain's Got Talent in that series, thus there is no need to include a separate section for these changes. In addition, your recent edit to Britain's Got Talent (series 12 was also reverted for similar reasons. It is advisable to be certain not to duplicate information or alter how something is set up if its layout is considered okay by other editors. A piece of information you added in, lacked a citation to prove it; this was retained, and the issue resolved. In future, please ensure you provide citations for significant pieces of information you add in. GUtt01 (talk) 09:19, 28 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
