British categories
Thank you for tracing and fixing the emptying of Motorsport in the United Kingdom by year etc, sparked by my inserting a line for (pre-1801) "Great Britain" in Module:CountryAdjectiveDemonym/Adjectives, with the result "British", for the sake of Category:1800 crimes in Great Britain. I had not realised that this would cause a clash, since that table is used in both directions, and British is required for United Kingdom.

So, I have kind of an odd question for you...

- Hi Shearonick, I don't think Bearcat made that edit. It was done by a bot. This user account is a bot operated by Cobi (talk), Rich Smith (talk), and DamianZaremba (talk). It is used to make repetitive automated or semi-automated edits that would be extremely tedious to do manually, in accordance with the bot policy. - Cluebot watches all articles, or rather edits to them. Wikipedia:Bots/Requests for approval/ClueBot NG should give some idea of how it works - like any bot it has to get permission to run on Wikipedia, and there were questions asked at the time about the level of false positive it was likely to have, though that edit looks to me like a good revert. Hello Bearcat. Hope you and yours are well. Regarding the revision history [1] of the Stacy Arthur article @ 13:57, 7 February 2023, in removing the tag, “update after|2002|2” you noted, “no redlinked categories; only categories that actually exist are permitted”. I am ignorant regarding use of update tags and don’t understand the comment. Could you teach me and explain? Freedom Party of British Columbia
Hi Bearcat, you have recently restored the previous version of 'Freedom Party of British Columbia' overriding the latest informaiton about this party. As a matter of fact the older party are de-registered in 2009 and a new party with this name has been registered in 2023. Could you take a look at a recent page move?
Hi Bearcat, An editor has just moved the page "Comparison of the healthcare systems in Canada and the United States" to Comparison of the healthcare systems in the United States and Canada, for the reason that "US tends to go before Canada when named together". I've never heard of any such tendency, and frankly, it sounds like a US-centric approach. Doesn't the principle that how the original editor did things should normally stand, apply to the name of an article as well? It's had that name for a long time, and I don't think something should be moved just to suit an editor's personal preference. Thanks.
