An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Dagang Oilfield. Since you had some involvement with the Dagang Oilfield redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. Y814756748 (talk) 11:14, 19 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Constellation (energy company) Edits

edit

Hi Beagel! I was just looking over some of the edits you made to the Constellation (energy company) page a few weeks ago. One of the edit you made was to remove the section on solar generation. I agree that that section was not very specific. I've written up a few sentences that I'd like to use when adding that section back, but I didn't want to make the edit without getting your input. Below is what I would like to propose, so please let me know what you think.

Solar

In August of 2018, Constellation began construction of a 10-megawatt solar array outside of Ocean City, Maryland. When completed, the array will provide Ocean City with approximately 20% of its annual energy usage.[1] In October of 2018, Constellation and the Tucson Unified School District completed a project that added solar generation capability to 82 of the district’s buildings and facilities. It is estimated that the project will meet 47% of the district’s electricity needs.[2] In 2011, Constellation was contracted to construct and operate what was then the largest rooftop solar array ever constructed for the Toys-R-Us distribution center in Flanders, NJ.[3]

Thanks and any input will be appreciated. SBCornelius (talk) 16:09, 22 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Solar electrical power is still electrical power and it is already mentioned at the relevant subsection. I added above-requested information into the 'History' section because it is a part of history. Beagel (talk) 16:59, 22 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited David Rowland (property developer), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Falkland (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Move article Q-Cells to Q CELLS

edit

Hi. You were the last person editing the Q CELLS article. I was entrusted with the revision of the site. I am currently researching further documents and will correct the page again. Unfortunately I can't move any articles in other country Wikipedias (except Germany), therefore my request. Can you please move the article from the existing name to Q CELLS? Important: The emptarian sign is a protected emptarian sign.

If you can move articles on the Spanish site as well I´d be glad if you chance it there to the same name. Thank you so much. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Stephan T. (talkcontribs) 11:00, 22 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Oil and gas companies

edit

You agree with my approach? I dont know much about oil and gas, but I suspect that there are quite a few categories like "Natural gas in Foo", when there is no known natural gas in Foo, and they should be deleted. Rathfelder (talk) 08:25, 24 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

@Rathfelder: If there is a gas company in Foo, there should be also a category named "Natural gas in Foo" to have a proper category tree. "Natural gas in Foo" is a broader category which includes everything related to the natural gas in Foo. If there is known natural gas, it should be include through the category "Natural gas fields in Foo". Therefore I disagree with deletion. Beagel (talk) 08:54, 24 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
I've only deleted one, in the Bahamas, because there was no mention of any gas in the Bahamas, that was just where the company was based. Rathfelder (talk) 08:58, 24 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Edit content on the article "Banpu"

edit

Hi Beagel,

I'm a volunteer contributor and editing the article "Banpu". I edited based on updated information from the website www.banpu.com and found you also brought your version back and edited some on top. Some info are yet complete such as "As of 2019 BPP is headed by CEO Somruedee Chaimongkol.[3] She assumed the position on 10 April 2015.[2]". BPP stands for Banpu Power, I think here should replace BPP with Banpu or BANPU, the stock index name.

I think we can make it better. Could we talk and work together to unify the work?Jean Kritsilp (talk) 09:21, 30 July 2019 (UTC)Jean KritsilpReply

Google Code-In 2019 is coming - please mentor some documentation tasks!

edit

Hello,

Google Code-In, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at the English Wikipedia.

I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. Please sign up at the contest page and send us your Google account address to google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org, so we can invite you in!

From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community.

If you have any questions, please let us know at google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org.

Thank you!
