Hi Bcpw. I know Mike personally as well (though I didn't meet him until after he was an ardent leftist), and I don't doubt that the statement is true. I do know, for example, that it's a fact that he originally intended to earn a Bachelor of Commerce. However, according to WP:V, the threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is not truth, but verifiability, and this information is not verifiable from reliable, third-party sources. Additionally, WP:BLP states that any unreferenced material that may reflect badly on living persons must be removed. If his old school colleague gives a published interview about Mike somewhere, we can include the material and reference the interview. Until then, Wikipedia policy clearly precludes its inclusion. Thanks for asking for clarification, though, rather than just assuming that I was some kind of vandal. Sarcasticidealist 18:21, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
