Ryke Geerd Hamer edit

hi! r u sure about this ur edit? it seems like there is a strong similarity... thx. bye. --Homer Landskirty (talk) 12:46, 9 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi! Yes, Homer, the healing method proposed by Dr Hamer in his New German Medicine, is based on psychological therapy, which has nothing in common with the Christian method of spiritual healing discovered - or rather, re-discovered from Jesus' time - by Mary Baker Eddy. --Bblandford (talk) 00:10, 19 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Faith Healing edit

Thanks for your help with the classification of Faith Healing. Without your edits and comments I don't think we would have been able to improve that piece of the article. Dromidaon (talk) 16:20, 26 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Mary Baker Eddy edit

Hi Bblandford, this is regarding your revision to my edit here, and the concern noted in your edit summary. A citation was already in the article: "...Psychiatrist George Eman Vaillant wrote that Eddy was hypochrondriacal.[121]" And 121 is "George Vaillant, Ego Mechanisms of Defense: A Guide for Clinicans and Researchers, American Psychiatric Press, Inc., 1992, 70". Are you o.k. undoing your change? Regards, Accurizer (talk) 18:19, 18 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your reply. I'm alright with that. I based my categorization on the Mary Baker Eddy#Psychological evaluation section of the article, which does not cite Gill. Based on the information you noted, that section now seems incomplete or inconsistent with other sections. If you have access to the book you might consider adding the cite there. Thanks!
