Creating empty pages

The two empty pages I found were It's a Game and Dedication (Bay City Rollers album). They contained only the "Bay City Rollers Discography" template, perhaps with an image of the album cover, with no article text. As for making a link to an article that does not yet exist, this is encouraged (when the article might belong on Wikipedia and has a reasonable name), because it will make it more likely that the article gets created, and it will make it so that when the article is created, it is already linked to where it is supposed to be.

1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Vandalism messages - reply

Hi there, thanks for your message. I don't specifically watch cartoon show pages - I just keep an eye out generally using the User:Lupin/Anti-vandal tool, which I find useful.

• The general view is that you should warn IP addresses about vandalism, because it leaves a trail of warnings for others to act on in future. Also, users do sometimes read them and calm down once they know that they are being watched. Particularly troublesome IPs can be blocked temporarily, but only if the warning process has been carried out.
• There's a handy chart of warning template messages at WP:WARN - e.g. for a "first vandalism offence", you might just leave {{subst:uw-vandalism1|Pagename}} ~~~~ (a gentle warning, aimed not to scare off new users who might have made a mistake; for more serious vandalism, or vandalism after previous warnings, you then take it up the scale - you can even leave {{subst:uw-vandalism4-im|Pagename}} ~~~~ ("only warning") in particularly serious cases of vandalism, particularly if on lots of pages (clicking "User contributions" in the toolbox on the left-hand side of the page, and checking the recent edits, sometimes reveals vandalism that others have yet to spot).
• If someone (IP or user) has vandalised after a "level 4" (Final) warning, then the place to go is WP:AIV and follow the instructions there to report them.

Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, administrators are generally only able to block users if they have received a recent final warning (one that mentions that the user may be blocked) and they have recently vandalized after that warning was given. The reported user has not yet been blocked because it appears this has not occurred yet. If this user continues to vandalize even after their final warning, please report them to the AIV noticeboard again. Please only submit AIV reports for users who have vandalized past their final warning today. For example, at User talk:216.240.53.26, the last warning was six months ago, and that definitely does not apply currently, so please re-warn and if the user vandalizes after a final warning, then you can submit an AIV report.
