Welcome!
editHello, Bassmaster1822, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.
I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

editHello, I'm Magnolia677. I noticed that you recently removed content from Lake Chicot without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please stop removing the references. Magnolia677 (talk) 15:19, 2 April 2020 (UTC)
At Lake Chicot, it's very important not to remove important sources, particularly GNIS. I've written a few articles about nearby lakes in Mississippi. They may assist you with your editing, see Lake Whittington, Lake Washington (Mississippi), Elvis Presley Lake, and Lake Beulah (Mississippi). Feel free to ask if you need help. Cheers. editPlease do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Lake Chicot, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Stop deleting references. Magnolia677 (talk) 16:39, 2 April 2020 (UTC)
- Please stop changing the first sentence. The source cited at the end of the sentence supports the text. If you change the text, then the source is useless. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 21:30, 2 April 2020 (UTC)
- Pay attention friend. Two editors have now reverted you. Magnolia677 (talk) 10:13, 3 April 2020 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Lake Chicot, you may be blocked from editing. Magnolia677 (talk) 15:57, 3 April 2020 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Lake Chicot. Magnolia677 (talk) 22:36, 3 April 2020 (UTC)
Hey!
editYou need to start reading your talk page. Magnolia677 (talk) 22:37, 3 April 2020 (UTC)
- I will try to get in touch with this student and explain the situation. Please understand that we are no longer working in a classroom together due to campus closures, and students have been forced to finish this project up on their own with only remote guidance. I am sure the edits were in no way meant to be "disruptive." His deadline was last weekend, and he was just trying to get his assignment completed. Thanks for your understanding.
