The article will carry the NOINDEX tag until it is either reviewed by a new page patroller or 90 days have passed. After that, it's up to Google how long it will be for it to be indexed. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 17:45, 18 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

I want my page Chowdhary Zulfkar Ali to be semi protected to prevent vandalism.

Your account has been blocked from editing temporarily, because of persistent unconstructive editing. You were warned in June that you would be blocked from editing if you continued either to use multiple accounts abusively or to edit logged out to avoid scrutiny, and you have continued to edit logged out to avoid scrutiny, so you should not be surprised to learn of this block. Other problems with your editing include repeatedly creating self-promotional vanity pages, editing contrary to the conflict of interest guideline, and attempting to take ownership of an article. (It is perfectly clear that you do not want the article you created protected "to prevent vandalism"; you want it protected to keep it the way you want it, and prevent anyone else from editing it. That is contrary to the whole spirit of Wikipedia, which is open to anyone to edit, apart from those who forfeit the privilege of being allowed to edit by editing abusively.)

I have seen many editors blocked indefinitely for less than what you have done, but for now I have blocked your account for just three weeks, in the hope that that may be enough to convey to you the message that the ways you have been acting will not be tolerated. Please make sure that after the block is over you edit in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, including the conflict of interest guideline and the policy on sockpuppetry. If you don't, you are likely to be blocked indefinitely.

If you believe there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. JBW (talk) 22:14, 11 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Haji Buland Khan edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Haji Buland Khan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://www.earlytimes.in/newsdet.aspx?q=234422. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Speedy deletion nomination of Basim zulfkar edit

Hello Basimji zulfkar,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Basim zulfkar for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

Hi Basim. I have deleted Basim zulfkar under the WP:A7 "speedy deletion" criterion as it was an "article about a real person that does not credibly indicate the importance or significance of the subject". I have done the required "due diligence" and it would appear to me that a possible Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Basim Zulfkar WP:AFD discussion would most probably result in a WP:NOTINHERITED "delete" outcome. December 2020 edit

  Hello, Basimji zulfkar. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you.JW 1961 Talk 08:13, 21 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

  Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Showkat Ali Chowdhary moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Showkat Ali Chowdhary, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
