List of converts to Islam

edit

Greetings, I noticed that you've been adding to the list. Please follow the list norms and when citing a convert to Islam also cite from what belief individuals have converted from otherwise additions you make will likely be removed. Thanks. Netscott 17:02, 17 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I noticed you're adding more companions... kindly add from what belief they converted from. Thanks. Netscott 03:41, 20 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

I cant always find out what they converted from Bazel 03:50, 20 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

WikiProject Syria

edit

For now, you can add {{User WP Syria}} to your user page to add a userbox and yourself to the category of participants. I've already spent almost ten hours creating and designing WikiProject Syria. I will report back when I'm done from designing the principal elements of WP:SY. Regards, Anas talk? 16:41, 23 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thank you, Basel. :-) You might want to head to WP:SY/P and add you area of expertise or simply what kind of help you are willing to offer for the project. Regards, Anas talk? 20:00, 23 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
Basel, I'd be thankful if you can watch the project's talk page for required tasks. It is recommended that you add the project to your watchlist to keep you upgraded. Thanks - Anas talk? 21:47, 25 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'm sorry about that. It looked in the recent changes like it was a blank. I fixed it though. King Lopez Contribs 09:44, 17 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Kibbeh

edit

Hi Bazel, how are you? Please, do you have a good recipe for Kibbeh or Sfiha? Your picture looks great! Thanks.--Legionarius 08:00, 12 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thanks about the pictures, but the real people who deserve the thanks are my mom and grandmother for making the food, I'll try to write recipes for them Bazel 08:19, 12 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Lucky you! :-) Thanks, it is hard to find good recipes, lots of them are not authentic.--Legionarius 08:36, 12 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
I am going on a hunger strike until you send the recipes. Ok, just kidding :-). You look busy lately.--Legionarius 02:49, 6 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Arab article

edit

As I did read this article, it contains a lot of unusual information, propagandistic views and weasel words in the article Arab. I therefore would like to get a group with me who are able to rewrite this article in a best way to get best results. Anyone who want to join our team add your name below in the Arab Talk page. Please note that after the team has gathered, we will place "under-progress" tag. Irqirq 14:50, 23 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Can you elaborate on the license and source for File:Gavin Macleod.jpg (now on Commons)? I am guessing that you took the photo yourself, and wanted to release it into the public domain, is that right? cmadler (talk) 19:35, 1 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Asian 10,000 Challenge invite

edit

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 01:18, 20 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
