Response to your comment on my talk page edit

I have not damaged any articles, and I would appreciate if you didn't make false accusations such as that. I assure you that I do read what the article is about and make the appropriate changes based on factual accuracy and worldwide usage of terms. Also, it is pointless to link to disambiguation pages such as Caucasian. Also, dictionaries are not always reliable sources, especially since the definitions are written by anonymous individuals and groups. Spylab 10:54, 24 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Also, you seem to have missed the comments I left on the Slab Fork article talk page, since you have not responded to them, nor did you mention them in the comments you left on my talk page. Here they are again:

Wikipedia is not just for residents of Slab Fork. It should use terms that are valid worldwide. For much of the world, the word Caucasian refers to people who are from Caucasus (See Caucasian peoples and Languages of the Caucasus). Even the Caucasian race article says that Caucasian isn't simply a synonym for white people, and does include people that many Americans wouldn't consider white (i.e. "people whose ancestry can be traced back to Europe, parts of North Africa, the Middle East, South Asia and in certain areas of Central Asia."). The Caucasian American article says

According to one social scientist, fewer people have been using the term Caucasian American, and more people have been using the terms White American and European American. Although the term Caucasian is not used in official US government racial tallies', some independent agencies use this term as an ethnic/racial label.

Also, the citation (demographics report) in the sentence we're talking about uses the term white, not Caucasian. Therefore, the wording of the sentence as it stands is not backed up by a reliable source. Finally, [[[Caucasian]] is a disambiguation page, and it is pointless to link to it within an article. I do, in fact, know what I'm talking about, as I explained on various talk pages. My edits are based on sound facts and reliable sources. Please stop your personal attacks based on ignorance and flimsy logic. Spylab 11:17, 26 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

P.S. In order to close my account, you would have to demonstrate that I have broken Wikipedia rules. I have not breached any guidelines, so your threats are hollow. Spylab 11:17, 26 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

About Spylab edit

This poor soul of Spylab has always a rule that makes him/her (in his/her mind) absolutely right - no matter is (s)he knowledgeable about the subject (s)he tries to elaborate or not. Also, (s)he has the rule which his/her opponent breaks regularly - "Please stop your personal attacks ...". Sure thing, Wikipedia is a free source of knowledge - which must be freed of mentally challenged people (and their 'contributions') like Spylab - in order to be credible and respectable source.

The best description of this person's (Spylab) capabilities is given (by BennisTheMenace) on his/her user page - which was deleted by Spylab:

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Revision as of 13:44, 21 July 2006 by BennisTheMenace (Talk | contribs) (diff) ← Older revision | Current revision (diff) | Newer revision → (diff) Jump to: navigation, search

I am probably from the USA and like to scrap others' contributions due to what I call "factual correctness" - instead of knowing the facts and reporting them!

Anyway - I am supporting your idea of sending a note to the Wikipedia administration requesting to close Spylab's account for good.--NovaNova 02:47, 29 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • Sure thing, send a note to administrators... about what exactly? I have not broken any Wikipedia rules. However, both of you (and that extremely old post by Bennis) have broken the rule about making personal attacks on Wikipedia (moreso yourself, NovaNova). Therefore, yet again I will post the following Wikipedia template in response to your latest personal attack, NovaNova: Please stop. If you continue to make personal attacks on other people, you will be blocked for disruption. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Thank you. Hello BarryMar. I see that there is no use to warn this person about anything bad he has already done nor he might be accountable for any editorial damages he made. He is not capable of understanding that. Please, be informed that I've already sent a detailed report to the Wikipedia administration warning them (this way) about the 'quality' of Spylab 'edits'. I hope someone will read it and block his account for good. Very interesting thing I've stumbled across while writing the report about Spylab - he was supported publicly by a person who publicly admit suffering from a mental disorder!!!
Hiya, Spylab! I've never got this sort of reaction. I can only conclude that you're a better editor than I am! Keep up the good work. CWC(talk) 07:39, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

Ante Starčević edit

I will see what I can do, make sure it is properly nominated at WP:GAC, it might be a bit, I usually try to give preference to articles that have been around awhile but I will try to look at your within a week, just at glance the lead needs to conform to WP:LEAD, there probably aren't enough inline citations and are there any images (not necessary for GA, but would be nice). I will let you know when I do the review. I appreciate you notifying me of all editors, thanks. IvoShandor 12:48, 20 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thank you, --BarryMar 12:56, 20 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ante Starčević edit

Go ahead and report me, if you'd like. GiorgioOrsini has ended the review process by declaring the article GA, despite my objections. I have no obligation to stop editting the article, and nothing I have done is vandalism. In fact, instantly reverting my failed GA would be considered vandalism. Thank you, have a nice day. --Thewanderer 15:28, 20 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
