Welcome! edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! clpo13(talk) 22:12, 13 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

December 2021 edit

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in post-1992 politics of the United States and closely related people. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Assuming good faith edit

Remember to assume good faith and avoid casting aspersions on other editors, as you did at Talk:Joe Biden. Comment on content, not contributors. Repeated failure to abide by Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, especially in contentious topic areas, will result in sanctions, per the above discretionary sanctions notices. clpo13(talk) 22:28, 13 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Biden edit

PLEASE, either open up an RFC over what you want added to the Joe Biden article, or move on to another topic. Otherwise, you're wasting editors time & possibly trying some of the other editors patients. GoodDay (talk) 22:33, 13 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Furthermore, looking over your contrib history. It's entirely focused on the Biden talkpage. GoodDay (talk) 23:16, 13 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Also, the fact that you've been ignoring messages on your talkpage, via not responding to them. Is annoying. GoodDay (talk) 00:43, 14 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

I don't open Wikipedia every day, so I can't respond instantly. I apologize for annoying you in that manner. Further, I didn't see a need to respond, as there were no questions asked of me. BarbecuePorkRinds (talk) 21:58, 14 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

January 2022 edit

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. – Muboshgu (talk) 21:36, 6 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

What was unconstructive? She is a democratic socialist, and I simply stated that she had a socialistic agenda. What I did was certainly not vandalism. BarbecuePorkRinds (talk) 22:52, 6 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
You wrote she's a socialist. She's a democratic socialist and there's a difference. Your edit was inaccurate and failed WP:NPOV. – Muboshgu (talk) 00:36, 7 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
