Türkiye Portalı edit

Merhaba geçenlerde Türkiye Portalını seçkin portallara aday gösterdim Wikipedia:Featured portal candidates/Portal:Turkey/archive1. Fakat bir Vikiproje Türkiye üyesi dışında kimse oy kullanmadı. Gelen karşıt oylarla kabul edilmemiş oldu. Lütfen oyunuzu kullanın.--Absar 12:23, 6 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Selam! Unfortunately, Wikipedia:Semi-protection policy#When not to use semi-protection says that I can't semi-protect your userpage unless it gets a lot of vandalism (and it hasn't gotten any). Anyways, I saw your userpage, and I just couldn't help myself. ;-) There are still a few errors however that should be changed:

And that's pretty much it. Please let me know if you ever need help with anything else. Cheers, Khoikhoi 05:44, 7 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

I actually thought that the word "Tartar" is offensive. I guess you learn something new every day. Also, "Türkiye" is the name for the country in Turkish, but "Turkey" is the most common name in English. I don't really see how it is offensive... Khoikhoi 09:22, 18 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for Image:Nogai.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Nogai.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 14:07, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
