Album infoboxes edit

Hello Banzai24,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you stay a long time and edit many articles. If you have not read the Wikipedia:Introduction, I recommend you do so. I noticed that you have created various articles about The Surfin' Lungs' albums. I have also noticed that you did not properly use the correct infobox. You created the page with {{Infobox musical artist}}, but the proper template would be {{Infobox album}}. I have already fixed the infobox each of the articles, I just wanted to let you know so you don't make the same mistake again. I also suggest you find references to put in all of those album articles. They might or might not be AfD (articles for deletion) by other users. So I would find some.

Disambiguation link notification for January 23 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited World Indoor Bowls Championships, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Jamie Walker. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message edit

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:34, 28 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

January 2024 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved without good reason. They should have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 00:39, 10 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Banzai24,
Do not move articles to Project/Wikipedia space. This namespace is for noticeboards and policy pages, not articles. Also do not move articles prematurely from User space like your Sandbox or Draft space to the main space because they will be reviewed and if deemed incomplete or inadequate, they could be tagged for deletion. You now have two versions of the same article, please submit one of them for Articles for Creation review so an experienced editor can evaluate the articles and give you suggestions so that the article will not face deletion.
If you have questions about article creation or different namespaces, please bring them to the Teahouse. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 00:42, 10 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
