Hey, sorry about jumping to conclusions! I'd just never heard that before and there wasn't any other mention of it in the article. Thanks for pointing it out! Just for verification purposes though, do you happen to have a good source to confirm it? Survivorfan1995 (talk) 01:23, 24 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Oh, absolutely! I should have just looked at her CBS profile myself, which is where you can find a lot of significant bio info about Survivor contestants. Survivorfan1995 (talk) 02:22, 24 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
Welcome to Wikipedia. While everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one of your recent file uploads, such as your addition to Amanda Kimmel, had missing or false information regarding its source and copyright status. Please note that Wikipedia takes copyright and copyright infringement very seriously. Images and other media may only be uploaded and included if their copyright status meets the conditions stated in our image use policy, and if their provenance is clearly documented. If you have questions, feel free to ask at the copyright question page or on my talk page. Thank you. Survivorfan1995 (talk) 05:20, 28 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
Hey I probably owe u an apology too. I got carried away by notifying the administrators like that, since newcomers often make mistakes in good faith. I was just as wrong. I'll do better in the future! Survivorfan1995 (talk) 21:16, 30 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
Have u tried looking over Wikipedia:Non-free content? The guideline examples about images should probably tell u everything u need to know. I don't know why some of these rules have to be so complicated but that's just the way it seems to be. Feel free to message me about any other questions u might have and I'll get back to u ASAP. Speedy deletion nomination of File:Amanda Kimmel at Reunion.jpeg

edit

A tag has been placed on File:Amanda Kimmel at Reunion.jpeg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only," "non-derivative use" or "used with permission," it has not been shown to comply with the limited standards for the use of non-free content. [1], and it was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19, or is not used in any articles. If you agree with the deletion, there is no need to do anything. If, however, you believe that this image may be retained on Wikipedia under one of the permitted conditions then:

  • state clearly the source of the image. If it has been copied from elsewhere on the web you should provide links to: the image itself, the page which uses it and the page which contains the license conditions.
  • add the relevant copyright tag.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Gloss • talk 05:18, 31 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
