There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing.

If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In that reason, you must:

  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 04:21, 16 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of User:RecordsRescue

edit

A tag has been placed on User:RecordsRescue requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free web hosting service. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Decline reason:

Procedural decline. No response to questions for over a month. Vanjagenije (talk) 21:58, 18 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Here's a few key questions:

You are currently blocked because your username appears directly related to a subject that you are trying to create an article about, contrary to the username policy. Changing the username will not allow you to break the 3 important questions above. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 21:11, 4 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Renaming

edit

The global renaming tool is currently down for an indeterminate period. I will do the rename when it is back. Just Chilling (talk) 00:23, 18 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Renamed from 'RecordsRescue' to 'Banecrow'. Another admin will review your unblock request. Just Chilling (talk) 20:49, 19 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

It has not been over a month of time, request for answers were made on 9/4 according to the e-mail I have received and today is only the 18th so 14 days, a good week of that I was also without power do to hurricane Irma. As for the two questions, the first one I already explained that I do understand that about the not creating something for a business I work for, it was my first time posting and I figured it would be easier to learn if I posted about something I was familiar with I have no plans of making that mistake again. The second question about things I plan to contribute, I am an avid reader I can see myself contributing to pages about novels the most. Most weeks I go through 3 or 4 books and I am always on the look out for new authors in the Kindle 99 cent section of Amazon.

Decline reason:

Procedural decline. This request was not posted by User:Banecrow, but by an anonymous IP. You have to log in when making unblock request so that we know it's you. Vanjagenije (talk) 07:40, 19 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

The request that you denied WAS made by me not just an IP address. So if you can please unblock my IP address now I would appreciate it. Was having trouble logging in did not realize you had gone ahead and changed my user name without doing the unblocking

Accept reason:

The blocking admin has no objections, and I am convinced you intend to edit according to policy. Vaya con dios. Jayron32 19:55, 11 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
