U.S. or US?

Just to let you know that Wikipedia's Manual of Style allows either "US" or "U.S." so please don't change articles from one form to the other. I reverted your change on Super Bowl LII. It does not seem that within Wikipedia there is a MOS telling us to not abbreviate versus with "vs." - indeed, the first pass at searching found examples within Wikipedia's Manual of Style (WP:MOS) where the form is used with a period. The National Football League is an American organization and we in the United States do NOT double the l in canceled! Look at that, my voice dictation spelled it correctly!
