The AfroCine Project core team is happy to inform you that the Months of African Cinema Contest is happening again this year in October and November. We invite Wikipedians all over the world to join in improving content related to African cinema on Wikipedia!

Please list your username under the participants’ section of the contest page to indicate your interest in participating in this contest. The term "African" in the context of this contest, includes people of African descent from all over the world, which includes the diaspora and the Caribbean.

The following prizes would be recognized at the end of the contest:

It is already past the middle of the contest and we are really excited about the Months of African Contest 2021 achievements so far! We want to extend our sincere gratitude for the time and energy you have invested. If you have not yet participated in the contest, it is not too late to do it. About this - I disagree. The current one is entirely sourced to Twitter and to India Today, while the one I redirected to cites the New York Times, The Hindu and the Financial Express, in addition to IT and the tweet. @Balablitz @Wilhelm Tell DCCXLVI The consensus is clear to merge. I used the default merge target only because it had a better (in my opinion) title. If any of you want the merge target to be something other than what was proposed in the discussion, then let me know. I think we all should spend our time in merging the useful information that is not common, to create a better article. It might get on WP:ITNC also. Venkat TL (talk) 14:38, 8 December 2021 (UTC)
