Non-free rationale for File:Moonbird Still.png

edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Moonbird Still.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 12:49, 23 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Tender Game Still.jpeg

edit

Thank you for uploading File:Tender Game Still.jpeg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.

National Historic Site (United States)

edit

Hey, thanks so much for your contributions to this page! I had written most of the rest, there's just too many to keep going consistently! Eventually I'd like to bring it to WP:FLC (similar to List of national monuments of the United States, List of national memorials of the United States, and others I've written), so if you'd like to continue helping with this I'd be glad to go in on that as co-contributors! Reywas92Talk 02:53, 18 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your kind words. I would be happy to work as a co-contributor with you! BakedintheHole (talk) 03:37, 23 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
Wow thanks for finishing all those up so quickly! You're very efficient at writing these, they always take me a while because I want to read the whole article and NPS site and map and whatnot. I'll shift to working on writing a broader overview and history using some of the sources in the other lists and get it to FLC soon. Reywas92Talk 22:20, 4 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
thank you! There are a few I didn't write that I might go in and tweak a bit, but at least for now there's something there for them all! BakedintheHole (talk) 22:36, 4 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Ninja Turtle marker number

edit

I don't see anywhere in the AEA post that says that the marker is numbered 290. (I also found the WMUR story's video on YouTube and it's not mentioned or shown there either.) I wouldn't be concerned about this if it weren't for the fact that the information that NH gives for the presumed 289th marker is ambiguous, meaning that that number might actually apply to the Ninja Turtle marker, not 290. The official list still stops at 288. Right now there's no RS that says that this marker is number 290. Mapsax (talk) 02:50, 14 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

You are correct! My apologies. Today it was updated as #289. Thank you! BakedintheHole (talk) 00:21, 15 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
No problem. Sorry to be a wet blanket for something fun like this. (I've never been a big Turtles fan since I was just a little older than their target audience when they first hit big, but still I'm impressed by the inclusion of the manhole.) I just corrected the number on the description of your new photo on Commons (that was easy to overlook, I know). Mapsax (talk) 01:01, 16 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
