Article layout

edit

Hi, I noticed your new article Y2K FM 90.6. You'll find the layout guideline in the Manual of Style helpful so you can format your article correctly. Happy editing! Schazjmd (talk) 22:41, 8 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Thank you! I need to spend some time looking over that. I really feel passionately about these rare parts of UK underground history that have been neglected. Thanks for your guidance. Back In the Days (talk) 18:21, 18 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Nomination for deletion of Template:Infobox drum & bass collective

edit

Template:Infobox drum & bass collective has been nominated for deletion. You are invited to comment on the discussion at the template's entry on the Templates for discussion page. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 15:48, 20 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Don't be alarmed, I'm not asking for your work to be erased from Wikipedia. When templates that are in use are deleted, their contents is copied into the pages that use them, so nothing will be lost. By the way, I fixed up the template so it actually works, except that the parameter |associated pirate stations= is not supported by {{infobox musical artist}}. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 15:52, 20 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

The word collective has been removed and hopefully should be considered for approval as it relates to some of the most influential artists in the Grime movement. It would incredibly sad not to consider this. Many thanks. Back In the Days (talk) 18:23, 18 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
This is not a duplication of another template. It also depth to the sources which are reliable published books, the BBC, Vice, MixMag and scores of other websites that are not blogs. The author has listened to criticism accordingly and changed language and the format. Surely, there must be thorough review before such a request considered. Back In the Days (talk) 11:56, 22 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
The term Drum & Bass collective has been removed and replaced with crew as they were a crew that existed and are supported by the sources in the references. Back In the Days (talk) 12:00, 22 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

The Reckless Crew was a massive part in the London underground Drum & Bass and UK Garage movement and played a huge influential role in developing celebrated artists like D Double E, Scratcha DVA, Bruza, Terror Danjah and many others. The sources attached in reference support this, they are mixed bag of literature from published books, notable music magazines, newspapers and even mentioned by the BBC.
