The article List of highest-grossing Telugu-language films has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The lead states "Box office figures in India are not published, as there is no official source" so this source can only be speculative or based on gossip rather than reliable sources and consequently must fail the WP:V policy.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. (talk) 16:50, 13 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Reliable sources

edit

Sorry, any forum, openwiki (like http://www.telugufilms.org) or discussion sites (like http://www.desipad.com) are an immediate failure against reliable source and/or Links normally to be avoided as they have unreviewed user contributions and no editorial control. If you are in doubt about such a source, please discuss on the article talk page first or put it up for independent review at the Reliable sources/Noticeboard. I'm not rushing to strip out doubtful links or citations as you are in the middle of creating the article, however these will be trimmed out in the long term (along with any information they support) so it would be better to find a few key quality sources and stick to quoting those rather than blitzing the article with a wealth of questionable ones. Thanks, (talk) 19:00, 13 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Fair use of images

edit

The fair use document still only covers use of the picture for Mayabazar, not Cinema of India. We have explained this on User talk:Padmalakshmisx talk page that this is the reason its being removed. Are you related to User:Padmalakshmisx? I hope not; see WP:sock.

Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did with this edit to Uday Kiran. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia.  Velella  Velella Talk   13:19, 16 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
