DO you have a refrence?

Well "any person" is pretty clear, there is no exceptions.--Twofortnights (talk) 17:06, 18 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

But my friend stil go there without visa. ATA refrenced Iranian can obtain 30 days visa on arrival. Your refrence just on a news , and the whole thing you can find in that headline is Syria try to ban Visa for some country the date refer to one month ago and the refrence of that news refer to year ago.

Iran and Syria have an agreement to issue visa 3 month for their citizen. 3 month ago the minister of Syria has a meeting whit Mr Najafi the Vice president for lifting their visa. Your refrence base on unclear news with out mention any name any date.

"My friend says" - please read Wikipedia:Verifiability and Wikipedia:No original research to find out why this is inadmissible.--Twofortnights (talk) 22:47, 18 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Syria edit

I agree with Babakesma. I don't believe he lied about his friend still travelling to Syria with 90 day visa on arrival, or the ministers re-affirming visa positions. Syrians don't require a visa for Iran, lifted a long time ago. The idea Syria stopped Iranians' visa on arrival, whilst Iran keeps it visa free for Syrians, is far-fetched.

See: http://portal.egov.sy/law.ar_law/en/0/0/module.page.html

Official Syrian gov site - Page shows all laws/decrees passed in the last 6 years (set 'Type' to 'All'). No mention of a law/decree requiring all visitors to get a visa from a Syrian embassy. Based on this and current IATA/KLM info, Syria is still 90 days visa on arrival.
