Hello, BSchief1, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Praça do Comércio

edit

Hello, and thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. However, your recent additions to Praça do Comércio needed a fair bit of cleanup (you can see my edit here). In short, new topics need new paragraphs, punctuation goes before citations, and most importantly, please don't use the nowiki tag until you really understand how and why to use it. It wasn't needed at all here, and your broken application of it resulted in non-working links and citations. No big deal, just please keep this in mind going forward. Getting in the habit of using the Preview function is also a good idea, as it will show you whether your pending changes will damage the page. If I can help with anything, please let me know. Thanks, Jessicapierce (talk) 03:55, 9 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
