Notification of automated file description generation edit

Your upload of File:Box Score 22.gif or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.

This notification is placed on your talk page because a bot has identified you either as the uploader of the file, or as a contributor to its metadata. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks! Message delivered by Theo's Little Bot (opt-out) 14:00, 20 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

  • Another one of your uploads, File:Box Score 1.jpg, has also had some information automatically added. If you get a moment, please review the bot's contributions there as well. Thanks! Message delivered by Theo's Little Bot (opt-out) 14:01, 20 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Question: If I replace the picture with one that is not a pdf - a png perhaps - will that solve the problem? Thanks, Brian Maskell

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Box Score in Decision-Making Section.pdf edit

A tag has been placed on File:Box Score in Decision-Making Section.pdf requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Automatic deletion edit

I do not know why there is going to be automatic deletion. I also do not know how to rectify the problem. Please tell me where I can get this information. Brian Maskell BMaskell (talk) 00:15, 11 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. WikiProject Investment edit

Hey there! I just re-launched the WikiProject Investment.

The site has been fully revamped and updated and I would like to invite you the project.

Feel free to check out the project and ping me if you have any questions.

I'd like to invite you to join the Investment WikiProject. There are a lot of Investment related articles on Wikipedia that could use a little attention, and I hope this project can help organize an effort to improve them. So please, take a look and if you like what you see, help get this project off the ground and a few Investment pages into the front ranks of Wikipedia articles. Thanks!

Speedy deletion nomination of Lean accounting edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Lean accounting requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://books.google.com/books?id=y6QBw0f3JiYC&pg=PT360&lpg=PT360&dq=%22There+are+two+main+thrusts+for+Lean+Accounting.+The+first+is+the+application+of+lean+methods+to+the+company%27s+accounting,+control,+and+measurement+processes.+This+is+no+different+from+applying+lean+methods+to+any+other+processes.+The+objective+is+to+eliminate+waste,+free+up+capacity,+speed+up+the+process,+eliminate+errors+and+defects,+and+make+the+process+clear+and+understandable.%22&source=bl&ots=tPTJKdcUvu&sig=6jQVVUeLbM0EV0YCiq3nnOYlY74&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiW-Zq71MDbAhUmuVkKHc6yDOUQ6AEIPDAC#v=onepage&q=%22There%20are%20two%20main%20thrusts%20for%20Lean%20Accounting.%20The%20first%20is%20the%20application%20of%20lean%20methods%20to%20the%20company's%20accounting%2C%20control%2C%20and%20measurement%20processes.%20This%20is%20no%20different%20from%20applying%20lean%20methods%20to%20any%20other%20processes.%20The%20objective%20is%20to%20eliminate%20waste%2C%20free%20up%20capacity%2C%20speed%20up%20the%20process%2C%20eliminate%20errors%20and%20defects%2C%20and%20make%20the%20process%20clear%20and%20understandable.%22&f=false. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. --Ipatrol (talk) 04:10, 7 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of File:Box Score 1.jpg edit

The file File:Box Score 1.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unused. Unencyclopedic. Out of scope.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 10:52, 15 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
