Welcome! edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent contributions, such as your edit to the page Diet in Hinduism, have removed content without a good reason to do so. Content on Wikipedia should not be removed just because you disagree with it or because you think it's wrong, unless the claim is not verifiable. Instead, you should consider expanding the article with noteworthy and verifiable information of your own, citing reliable sources when you do so. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the sandbox rather than in articles. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! 10mmsocket (talk) 13:33, 17 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

September 2021 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. 10mmsocket (talk) 13:34, 17 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please see your talk page. I added nothing to that article. BLPcleaner (talk) 14:34, 17 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
10mmsocket is right. "Some" and "whereas other" is your analysis. And removing content referenced to book published by Brill requires a bit more argumentation than "Opinions not fact". Drmies (talk) 14:38, 17 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
