Please do not add or change content, as you did at Star Trek, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 18:21, 5 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

I'm only editing that because the Viacom properties were acquired by CBS as part of the merger on December 2019, therefore all production and television studios is handled by a television distributor in which ViacomCBS, CBS Television Distribution. That's the same way people would do for other companies like NBCUniversal, WarnerMedia, and Disney (except that Disney has 2 TV Distribution companies: 20th Television and Disney ABC Domestic).

The part about CBS buying Viacom is stated here: https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/how-a-merged-cbs-viacom-could-try-compete-hollywood-giants-1225453

Irrelevant as it doesn't change the credited names of the distributors of the original airing which is what goes in the articles. See template:Infobox television/doc distributor - "The names of the original distribution company or companies". Geraldo Perez (talk) 15:50, 6 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Unspecified source/license for File:MTV Entertainment Studios logo.png

edit

Thanks for uploading File:MTV Entertainment Studios logo.png. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|cc-by-sa-4.0}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: Once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 18:45, 16 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

File source problem with File:MTV Entertainment Studios logo.png

edit

Thank you for uploading File:MTV Entertainment Studios logo.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
