External links, spam & conflict of interest etc

Hi Ceri, Thanks for your message. I think you need to look closely at some of the guidance above ie Wikipedia:Spam, Wikipedia:Advertisements, Wikipedia:External links & Wikipedia:Conflict of interest and consider why you are adding the links to various wikipedia pages. Is it to add encyclopedic information to the articles on the various topics or is it to promote your own service? Your message (and edits) give the impression you work for the British Horse Society emagin and, if this is the case you should also declare your potential conflict of interest on your user page. As the maps pages carry a lot of advertising it is likely to be seen as trying to use wikipedia for commercial gain, even if it is a charitable organisation.— Rod ^talk 17:28, 26 October 2010 (UTC)
