This Peer Review is part of the process for replacement articles; the original article still on file (see Deborah Gibson) had several known issues at the time I began this process back in March. your note on the Lolicon talk page

I am the individual who requested a translation to help us with some improvements in the already-existing entry in English Wikipedia. I went back to the translation request page, and I can't see any indication that it's started. I've never asked for a translation before, so perhaps I'm just looking in the wrong place. I happen to be new to Japanese myself and nowhere near dual fluency. I placed a Translation Request for ja.Wikipedia.org/wiki/麗美 and have seen no evidence to date that anyone is working on en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/Reimy, an article I need for background info on a Japanese singer-songwriter who recorded a 1987-vintage song written by Deborah Gibson for the U.S. dance-music market—a conservative move for a J-pop artist with little experience at the time of writing songs in English (for current status see Wikipedia:Translation/Reimy). The Lolicon article actually looked pretty far into the translation process. - B.C.Schmerker 02:24, 1 July 2007 (UTC)

The Lolicon article isn't a translation from the Japanese. The Lolicon entry has been written for a very long time. My request is for just a portion of the Japanese article which would enhance ours--missing information. I'm assuming my requested translation hasn't been started. J-pop, eh? Hi there. I see that you're doing a lot of work on article development here in your userspace. That is indeed a great way to get articles up to speed before moving them into mainspace. The way you're doing it now, using your talk page and your user page, is a bit cluttered and also makes it somewhat harder for people to collaborate with you. I would suggest that you use subpages to do your article development. They're easy to create, simply create a link of the form [[/example]] on your user page then click and edit. A big advantage to working on articles this way is that when they are ready for mainspace, you can just use the *move* function to place them along with the full development history directly into mainspace. Thanks for a reminder on a cataloguing procedure I hadn't considered until now. I'd have to do a lot of repaging to pull it off, of course, potentially breaking links in the process, so obviously a changeover at this stage is not foolproof. - B.C.Schmerker 12:40, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
