Image copyright problem with Image:CharlesTilly.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:CharlesTilly.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images on Wikipedia is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. You can get help on image copyright tagging from Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. --OrphanBot 09:34, 21 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

WPIT edit

Wow! Thank you so much for joining the WikiProject Inheritance Trilogy! And thank you even more for doing so much to the Project Page! That really needed to be done. Maybe, as a member, you can become the first official "task finder"! Icelandic Hurricane #12(talk) 14:04, 21 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

I think it would be ok to delete all that extra info until there is more interest in the project. But when more people join, I will restore the info. Also, nice job on the Blood Oath Celebration. It seems you and I are the only really dedicated members of this project, you probably more than me. Icelandic Hurricane #12(talk) 11:30, 22 May 2006 (UTC)Reply
  • Hi! I was really taken away with the {{Inheritance}} Apart from being interested in whether or not you could teach me how to make and edit them, I was wondering if you would be willing to begin adding another section called Inheritance Events. I've added a category to Category:Inheritance Trilogy for events and would love some help including an update of the chart. Thanks for all your time Aznph8playa2 01:32, 22 May 2006 (UTC)Reply
  • Hi. I edited the section {{Inheritance}}, still I need to fix that bad link to the events category. As for the explanation, I ca't really tell you, to me is self-explanatory.
! starts a new row,
- is the divider
... and so on

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Slamdunk cover1.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Slamdunk cover1.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 05:47, 24 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Notability of Thomas Eppel edit

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Thomas Eppel, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Thomas Eppel seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Thomas Eppel, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself.
