I am sorry to hear that you find those "symbols" irritating when editing. Wikipedia is currently testing on a new software that can allow easier editing with a WYSIWYG editor. You can now test its preview here. In the meantime, you can learn some of these wikitext formatting here. Do stay with us!

For more links, go to the project's navigation template.

I observed your edits to Mahabharata-related articles. Upapandavas is a great first article. Few suggestions:

  • restrict your use of bold to those discussed in MOS:BOLD.
  • When referring multiple pages in ref, use pp. else p. e.g. p. 100, pp. 100-1. In term of the template {{cite book}}, pages parameter for multiple pages and page for single ones.
  • In Bhima, I see references where name and page of reference is missing. Only ISBN is given. Please fill other details.

Let me know if you need my help. --Redtigerxyz Talk 15:38, 1 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for the feedback. I have made the changes in Bhima; the 'page' option is missing in "Cite" template. Perhaps it is something for the software engineers to note, I had to do pp. to p. manually. I shall look into the Bold conditions shortly. Thanks again :) Azhagiya manavalan (talk) 05:12, 2 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
