hi dr nick! edit

Seems we have the same idol...

just as a kind of survey did you create thoracoscopy from the medicine portal? I wish there was a counter so we could see how many visitors it gets...

asbestos edit

Would you mind checking asbestos and the law quickly to see that I made no error in the minor rephrasing I did of the definition of mesothelioma here? I am more familiar with mesothelioma as cancer of the mesothelial lining of the lungs, but see that the mesothelioma article def'n was more complete. Thanks!jgwlaw 03:03, 15 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for checking it. My father died of mesothelioma (lung), so I have an interest in this, as you can imagine.jgwlaw 23:42, 18 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Threatening remarks edit

Thank you for your concern. Thankfully, it has been a long while since I've received any sort of death threats related to Wikipedia. Lung cancer edit

Hello! Why did you include it in Version 0.5? Was it nominated? I can't find it. Please help, maybe I missed it somewhere. Or if you just passed it, then a {{V0.5}} template would be needed on the article's talk page. Thanks in advance. NCurse   work 10:22, 8 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thanks! In some weeks the battle for the new version will start, so I'll let you know when you can nominate it. :) Cheers. NCurse work 13:15, 11 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Methacholine moved to Metacholine edit

I'm wondering about the basis for changing the article title Methacholine to Metacholine. Methacholine is the spelling used in both of the external resources linked in the article, and a quick Google test (I am mindful of the limitations of Google tests), shows the spelling "methacholine" to be about 20 times more common. PubMed concurs, showing the spelling "methacholine" to occur in 32 times as many entries. The MeSH controlled vocabulary spelling is "methacholine". What are the reasons for preferring the spelling "metacholine"? --Tabor 18:50, 7 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Re: Linux edit

Hi, Axl. I read your comment you placed on my userpage concerning the editing process of the Linux encyclopedia entry. I appreciate your message, but I must ask one question: Why me? How is my input any more important than somebody who has been working on the page, perhaps longer than I have been? I would be happy to help, but I am currently confused. Is this about the GNU/Linux versus Linux discussion I began earlier? If you would like me to completely and properly rewrite the Linux Wikipedia entry to become GNU/Linux, I would gladly do so, if it were not going to make me look like the bad guy. Where are we going with this? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Dkrogers (talkcontribs) 22:02, 21 February 2007 (UTC).Reply

Re: Re: Linux edit

Thanks for coming to me, I guess, but I'm not interested in "improving" the "Linux" entry, unless it goes by the proper name. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Dkrogers (talkcontribs) 02:43, 23 February 2007 (UTC).Reply
