User:Axiom292/Mufti Shafi draft edit

Hi Axiom292, I see you are constructing some nice articles in your sandbox. Among them, there is Mufti Shafi draft. It is nice and more informative. However, there is already an article on Mufti Muhammad Shafi, named Muhammad Shafi Usmani. Will not it be better if you directly edit the already-existing article? I look forward to your reply. Thanks. -AsceticRosé 05:55, 1 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Request for review edit

I noticed you helped out cleaning up the Deobandi article. The same user has been edit warring at Ahmed Raza Khan Barelvi, Ashraf Ali Thanwi and Barelvi. Contacting him at User talk:MohaddesTop has proven ineffective. I've tried pinging him at discussions at Talk:Ahmed Raza Khan Barelvi, Talk:Ashraf Ali Thanwi and Talk:Barelvi. If you have the time, could you check those out and perhaps chime in? No pressure to agree with my points either, but since you're not yet involved I thought some more input could help solve the issues. MezzoMezzo (talk) 04:02, 6 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Your contributed article, Zakariya draft 2 edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Zakariya draft 2. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Muhammad Zakariya Kandhlawi. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Muhammad Zakariya Kandhlawi – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions.  GILO   A&E 20:37, 14 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for uploading File:Muhammad Zakariya Kandhalvi.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Proposed deletion of Tayyab Agha edit

The article Tayyab Agha has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. — JJMC89(T·E·C) 05:08, 30 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

I apologize, the current image is presented on some websites and videos as being of Maulana Numani. Yes, you do need to be a confirmed user in order to upload an image, but you only need 10 edits to become autoconfirmed. I think it would be better if you uploaded a photo yourself so that you can fill in the information for source, copyright, etc. You can use Wikipedia:File Upload Wizard to guide you through the upload process. You can go ahead and remove the existing image from the article, but be sure to include an edit summary this time! --Axiom292 (talk) 06:46, 10 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Abd al-Ilah Pasha edit

The article Abd al-Ilah Pasha has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

one reference, subject does not appear notable enough (simply being a leader does not merit an encyclopedic article)

Ways to improve Idris ibn Qatadah edit

Hi, I'm TonyBallioni. Axiom292, thanks for creating Idris ibn Qatadah!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. If you could provide footnotes in the text of the article to show which references support the claims made, it would help readers learn more about the subject.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Speedy deletion nomination of Rumaythah ibn Muhammad edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Rumaythah ibn Muhammad requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Banu Hasan moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Banu Hasan, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
