General

The content of this article is thorough. I like the description of what's the Ti-in-Zircon Geothermometry and how to do it. I think it's better if the author can provides the actual photo of zircon grain and the photos of instruments used in labs. I noticed that some reference errors need to be corrected, and I think the "Image" chapter should be fixed.

Format and Grammar

• In "Zircon" chapter.

"Zircons are know to be relatively..." should be "Zircons are known to be relatively...". "It is know to exchange Rare Earth Elements (REE) such as Hf, U, Th, Y, and Lu." Actually according to [REE] page, U, Hf and Th are not Rare Earth Element.

• In "Methods" chapter.

(~85% is removed). Needs to be more specify. ~85% "what" is removed. (density of 4.6-4.7 g/c³). Should be 4.6-4.7g/cm³.
