Speedy deletion nomination of Tin land

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Tin land requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about something invented/coined/discovered by the article's creator or someone they know personally, and it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.  GILO   A&E  23:13, 1 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Hello, my name is Gregor Kerr, or Autistic_Furry_1234567890. I believe I have been unfairly blocked. Here's the story: So, Wikipedia's articles are straightforward, right? They just give you the info. Nothing else. BOOOOO-RING. So, I figured "Hell, why not throw a little humor in there?" So I did. I visited the Country Etymology page, and found the Central African Republic. It was just "Self-descriptive, from its French name République centrafricaine, for further etymology of blah blah blah blah blah." No one cares. So I wrote: "Do you really need to find out?" I mean, SERIOUSLY. C E N T R A L A F R I C A N REPUBLIC. That should TELL YOU it's called that because it's in CENTRAL AFRICA!!! Do you ABSOLUTELY have to LOOK IT UP?! So yeah. When I was done, I went to view my oh-so-marvelous masterpiece. IT WASN'T THERE! It was just the same old "Self-descriptive, from its French name République de BORING." So I tried again, thinking it didn't work. IT STILL DIDN'T COME UP. Then I noticed I had gotten a message. I went to check it. IT WAS DELETED BY A BOT!!!! WHAT!?! For a website that doesn't want bots to edit its pages, I didn't think it would want bots to RUN IT. The following day, guess what? I WAS BLOCKED. For "disruptive editing." THANKS, F***ipedia. Decline reason:

Since it is clear that your intent is to carry on with silly vandalism, I don't see any reason to consider an unblock. Kuru (talk) 13:31, 22 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Alright, FINE!!! I guess I'll QUIT wikipedia!!!

Request reason:

I'm sorry, I should have been clearer. My intent is not to vandalize Wikipedia. I mean the site no harm.

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. -- There'sNoTime (to explain) 18:52, 22 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
