Proposed deletion of Bacio Divino

The article Bacio Divino has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Young winery that does not appear to meet the criteria for inclusion specified in Wikipedia:Notability and WP:CORP, as well as WP:WINERY. Coverage in Wine Spectator, which reviews thousands of wineries as a primary purpose, is insufficient to establish notability. If a specific wine is notable, the associated winery does not automatically inherit notability; see WP:NOTINHERITED.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. Hi can you explain a bit more why you have nominated "Bacio Divino" for deletion? I've read the notability guidelines and have reviewed other wineries that are on Wikipedia and I don't understand why Bacio Divino is being nominated. I can provide any additional information from the winemakers to better build the page, but would appreciate any guidance. Auher (talk) 19:44, 12 July 2010 (UTC)

I explained in the nomination rationale, but WP:WINERY should explain more fully. Information from the winemakers won't help. One really needs reliable third party coverage, and I'm not seeing that. ~Amatulić (talk) 01:51, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

Thank you for this. I will work to get additional information to support this, however it may take a week or a bit more. Can you please refrain from deleting in the mean time, and perhaps remove the proposed deletion? I appreciate any help with this

Once an article is formally proposed for deletion, the discussion period lasts a fixed amount of time (7 days, I think, but I'm not sure). If there is no consensus, the article is kept. If there is no discussion, the article is kept and re-listed. If the discussion reveals consensus to delete, then the article is deleted — however, you can always copy this article to your user space and work on it at your liesure. I can help you with this. Also, you can edit the article in your own userspace even if the main space article isn't deleted, and then copy and paste your improvements from your user space into the article. ~Amatulić (talk) 17:20, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

The deletion proposal has been re-listed (at my request), but so far the consensus is to delete. Do you want to continue working on this article in your user space, for eventual re-posting into the main space when the notability criteria are fulfilled? ~Amatulić (talk) 05:50, 18 July 2010 (UTC)
