ABRSM links edit
I don't think the links to ABRSM sheet music are relevant at all on instrument pages. While it is a prestigious organisation, its music is not the only music available to play on any given instrument. Adding those links could start a slippery slope of people adding links to music from the Suzuki method to the flute article, for example. From my brief look at the site, it seems that it would be more suitable at the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music article - I might take a closer look later tomorrow my time as it's getting late here in Australia. - I'd be inclined to let it be linked at the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music if you had a centralised place from which it could be linked like ("list of all ABRSM sheet music pages on Wordpress") or ("click here for either classical or jazz") or something. As it stands now it is in a way commercial - it links to specific sheet music sources in the UK and the USA only which makes it local interest; however I assume you could use those sources from anywhere in the world if you wanted to. I'd advise you to propose the link at Talk:Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, especially if you are involved with the site and have a conflict of interest. In my experience it's best if the regular editors of an article can decide what links to add - it makes things easier for everyone. I think the site is a useful one and certainly not spam.
- If you find spam links or dead links you can just feel free to remove them. I find if articles aren't well-watched, external links can grow exponentially and some bad links can slip through. WikiProject Spam weeds out the worst ones but only for people who have been massively spamming.
