Proposed deletion of Astrochology edit

The article Astrochology has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Proposed for Deletion because (a) Wikipedia is not for newly coined words (see edit summary of creator) (b) Wikipeida does not include pages which are only definitions such as this one, and (b) the creator seems to have made these words up him/herself

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Kingpin13 (talk) 10:15, 30 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

The same goes for Astrochologist prefix:Wikipedia:Reference desk/Archives. Feel free to ask me if you need any help :). Best, - Kingpin13 (talk) 10:26, 30 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Hi there. I'm not saying that neither is a legitimate science, and I'm not objecting to the word itself, as you seem to think I am. What I am objecting to is that this new word, coined by you, should have a Wikipedia page about it. Why do I think that the word should not have a Wikipedia page? Well, because Wikipedia is not for you to add things you made up (see WP:MADEUP), Wikipedia is not for new words (see WP:NEO), and Wikipedia does not include pages where the only content is a definition, because we are not a dictionary (see WP:NOTDICT). I hope that helps you understand why I've proposed the articles for deletion. Regards, - Kingpin13 (talk) 11:12, 30 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
