Dr. A. B. Malaka Reddy moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Dr. A. B. Malaka Reddy, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Mohammed Naseeruddin moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Mohammed Naseeruddin, is not suitable as written to remain published. It does not show notability . Please do not move your drafts by uourself, but wair for a reviewer to confirm that its ready . drafts

edit

please do not move your own drafts to mainspace, but wait for a reviewer. I moved one back. Moving drafts yourself defeats the purpose of AfC/. Furthermore, it leaves loose ends that mess up our processes. . (the other two , Lumbini Park Yadgir and Nagangouda Kandkur seem OK, but marginal, and I did the necessary clean up for them. Do not be surprised if they are nominated for deletion by another editor. DGG ( talk ) 00:19, 12 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Deletion discussion about Arif Kadloor

edit

Hello, Asimrasoolwrite, and welcome to Wikipedia. I edit here too, under the username Umakant Bhalerao, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Arif Kadloor, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Arif Kadloor.

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not ballot-polls. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Umakant Bhalerao}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Speedy deletion nomination of A C Kadloor

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on A C Kadloor requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/A C Kadloor. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Your draft article, Draft:Vishwanath Reddy Mudnal

edit

Hello, Asimrasoolwrite. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Vishwanath Reddy Mudnal".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! Ji11720 (talk) 19:18, 23 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello Asimrasoolwrite! Your additions to Kadechur have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. DanCherek (talk) 22:20, 8 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Categories on your user page

edit

Hi Asimrasoolwrite! I see that you have reverted my bot's edits to your user page. Per WP:USERNOCAT, user pages are not articles, and thus do not belong in content categories such as Category:History of India. They can however be placed in user categories – subcategories of Category:Wikipedians, such as Category:Wikipedians interested in Indian history – which assist collaboration between users. I'm also concerned about your use of Category:Articles about multiple people, as usernames may not be shared amongst multiple people. I have deleted the article categories from your user page. Hope this helps you understand, and happy editing! GoingBatty (talk) 17:38, 14 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
