Daya Krishna

Hi. The entire unreferenced text was

Daya Krishna is a leading Indian philosopher who is a professor at Rajasthan University. He has tried to build bridges between traditional and Western philosophers. He is associated with Project of History of Indian Science, Philosophy and Culture.

The deleted article did not provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that he meets the notability guidelines for academics.

If you feel that you can address the notability issue and provide good third-party references, make sure that you

  • write in a non-promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic. As an example, leading in the deleted text is an opinion unsupported by fact.
  • write in your own words. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient.

Project page

Hi. Please don't put your project page in article space. I've moved it to your user space until you decide what to do with it. Deb (talk) 11:03, 12 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Sad

edit

Too many student projects are supervised by people who know nothing about Wikipedia. You at least do have a contributions history so I am saddened to see you let students get away with basic blunders like <h1> and boldened section headings or hopelessly unencyclopedic style. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 11:44, 28 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

  • Apologies about the writing standards. For most users, this is their first attempt at writing wiki articles. Therefore they have been advised not to publish or submit their articles for review unless it has been approved by their course instructors. We are reviewing the sandboxes of student users. First, we intend to create an exhaustive list of the links for articles, classified by quality. Later, we intend to review those articles which are among the better ones. Given the scale of the task, we expect to complete this in about a month from now. Ashwin Kumar A P (talk) 11:37, 1 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
