List of highest mountains edit

Hello. I have reverted your edits to List of highest mountains primarily because it contained some incorrect information in addition to being largely incomplete. However, the notion that the list also include the countries in which the peaks are located is something we could (or perhaps should) consider. The decision to list ranges only and not the countries was probably made very early on and I suspect for good reasons. Possibly for example, a desire to keep the article entirely geographical, without any hints of polictical or nationalistic flavor. That being said, if you feel that the countries should be included in the list, the talk page Talk:List of highest mountains would be a great place to raise the topic. Thank you.--Racerx11 (talk) 06:11, 29 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the message. It was bad on my part to make the edits without giving a glance at the talk page. Ashowmega (talk) 02:44, 23 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
