Speedy deletion nomination of Auslogics

edit

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A tag has been placed on Auslogics requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about it should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you can assert the notability of the subject, contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} at the top of the article, immediately below the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate), and give your reasons on the article's talk page, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

See the guidelines for specific types of articles: biographies, websites, bands, or companies.

Note that I did not actually nominate the article for deletion, nor do I have a position - but you might consider adding some reliable sources to show why the company is notable. Best, UltraExactZZ Said ~ Did 18:05, 13 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four halfwidth tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 19:33, 13 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

I have deleted your edits to Auslogics BoostSpeed, because they were a blatant copyright violation of [1]/ Note that this also means that you edit summary of "The article is improved in content and rewritten from a neutral point of view as well as cleaned from look of an advertisement." was blatantly incorrect, as it was not a neutral ad-free version, but a promo-peice written by the company.

Using copyrighted texts in Wikipedia is generally not allowed, and we also need to follow our neutrality policy. Fram (talk) 11:58, 17 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Looking further at your edits, it appears that all (recent) ones are copyright violations and rather deceptive promo pieces for one company, presenting the publisher's description, as reprinted on some websites, as if it was a review by that website. Note e.g. that this and this, presented as two "reviews" on Auslogics Antivirus 2011, is twice the same text, written by the company, not by any "reviewer".

Accordingly, I will delete all these articles as copyright violations and blatant promo pieces. Please make sure that any further edits by you are compliant with our policies: neutral, objective, without copyright violations, and without a promotional purpose.
