December 2010 edit

Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Oromia Region. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you have reliable sources besides the official census, you are free to cite them (it does not require an admin). However, I am not sure where else we could obtain those kind of figures. The census may be very well be questionable, but I don't know of another verifiable source. (Note that WP:V says "The threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is verifiability, not truth.") Your edit (link) questions the Ethiopian census, yet you did not provide a source for your own estimate of 40 million (much less a better source). I realize there are strong feelings regarding the issue. However, like it or not, the article is about the Ethiopian region called "Oromia Region", not about a proposed Oromo state.
